Degree: Bachelor of Science: Elementary Education - Indiana University Bloomington
Experience: Kate first began running events as a Recreation Director for Jellystone Park, where she created programs for campers of all ages for 4 years. Upon her husband's college graduation, she decided to step away from the campground to help build a family business, which grew from a small print shop to a successful creative agency. In 2017, Kate collaborated with friends to create Be Golden, a local conference with the mission of empowering women to be unapologetically authentic in their passion, whether that be professionally, personally, or a mixture of the two. Kate is passionate about creating meaningful events that showcase the importance of community and finding the good in people, and is excited to use her experience to further the success of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington.

Hobbies: Kate loves to spend time outside, whether she's hiking, playing in the pool with her family, or basking like a lizard in the sun. She is also an enthusiastic thrifter, always eager to find a cute lil trinket.
Did you know? (A fun fact about you!): Kate married her high school sweetheart and has three sons. She's really living her Home Improvement dream life, but her husband is more like Al than Tim.
