All funds donated will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington to support the John A. McCluskey Jr. Youth of the Year Fund. The fund will support scholarships for our local Youth of the Year. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington is a 501(c)3 (nonprofit) organization and donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt from the Club for your gift.

John A. McCluskey Jr. Bio -

John, a 40 year resident of Bloomington, IU Professor emeritus, author, and mentor to young people, is a native of Middletown, Ohio. He was a star quarterback in both high school and college, and believes strongly in the value of sport—along with rigorous academics-- for building  both character and purpose. At the Bloomington Boys Club, he coached teams that included his three sons, in both soccer and basketball, earning a season of undefeated play in the late 1980's - early 1990's for his youth soccer team. He also achieved winning records in both sports for several years. John is honored to have his name associated with the good and essential work that continues at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington.
