Degrees: B.S. in Education (Olivet Nazarene University), M.A. in Education (Nazarene Theological Seminary), Graduate Certificate in Church/Nonprofit Administration (North Park University), as well as additional coursework in business, accounting, and leadership.

Experience: Matt has served as the Administrative Pastor and Business Manager at Zion Community Church / Growing Hearts Daycare since 2019. He also has served as an elementary teacher, daycare & preschool director, and associate pastor for 10 years. Matt has additional experiences as a youth mentoring program coordinator, camp counselor, after school tutor, and staff positions supporting online higher education programs.

Hobbies: Matt enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Rachel, and daughters, Charlotte and Elizabeth - and a third on the way). He also enjoys planning family vacations, hiking at state parks, playing piano, and taking family walks with their dog, Pippa. Matt has lived in the Bloomington / Ellettsville community since 2019 and enjoys being involved in his local church.

Did you know?: Matt’s favorite vacation (so far) included taking a 3-day train ride from Chicago, IL to San Francisco, CA, and then driving down the Pacific Coast Highway to San Diego.
