
Experience: Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, Rhonda is thrilled to be the Events
Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington. Her journey began at Indiana University,
where she studied English and Education, leading to a varied career that reflects her
adaptability and passion for community and youth empowerment.
From her early role as a staff writer for the Bloomington Mayor’s Office to founding a parenting
magazine and a thriving photography business in Evansville, Rhonda has consistently sought
opportunities to build and support her community.
Her dedication extended to launching a Photography Club at the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville
and serving as the Awareness and Development Coordinator for a nonprofit organization that is
dedicated to strengthening the lives of young people and their families. Rhonda's recent
experience in managing large professional development conferences for educators across the
country, combined with her deep-seated desire to support young people, further strengthens her
ability to create impactful events for the Boys & Girls Club.

Hobbies: Rhonda enjoys hiking, kayaking, writing, photography, and listening to music.
Did you know?: During a donation presentation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central
Indiana in 2021, Rhonda was deeply moved by the staff's heartfelt stories. Inspired in that very
moment, she immediately signed up to become a Big Sister. For the past three years, she has
cherished the time spent with her Little Sister, witnessing her incredible growth.
