Experience: Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club, Mary Clare worked as the education director with the Cardinal Stage Company. Additionally, she spent a number of years as a full-time mother of three daughters and community volunteer. Prior to that, she taught high school English and worked at Butler University’s Institute for Study Abroad advising undergraduate students about study-abroad opportunities.

Hobbies: Mary Clare has called Bloomington home since 1996. She enjoys running, cycling, and swimming as well as being a fairly committed Notre Dame football fan. She’s served on a number of local boards, including the Lotus Education and Arts Foundation Board, the Board of the Monroe County YMCA, Stages Bloomington, Children’s Corner Cooperative Nursery School, and Bloomington Newcomers Club. She and her husband, Mark, enjoy traveling and visiting their children in the cool places they live.
