Crestmont Club

1111 W. 12th Street, Bloomington, IN 47404

The Crestmont Club opened in 1990 to serve boys and girls in the Crestmont Public Housing neighborhood located near Tri-North Middle School. Our Club used to be located in one of the duplex units in the Bloomington Housing Authority.

With nearly 40 children in attendance each day over the last few years, the capacity was not large enough to serve the 243 kids who live in Bloomington Housing Authority – not including the nearly 700 who live within a 10 minute walk to the Club!

So…it was time to expand!

Thanks to overwhelming community support with donations through the BIG Futures Capital Campaign, in September 2017, the new Crestmont Club opened it’s doors – doors that will open to as many as 200 kids each day.

The facility includes a library, technology lab, art studio, teen club, entertainment room, teaching kitchen, cafeteria, full-size gymnasium, and more! The Club features extensive program options for members including Indiana’s Kids tutoring, cooking, drama, computer programs, gardening and more.

Members can attend every day after school for only $5 per year!

Additionally, members have the ability to attend summer, winter and spring break camps that last all day long. Thanks to MCCSC Transportation, the Club provides FREE transportation for members to get to the Club after school each day.
