Degrees:  Bachelor’s of Science: Elementary Education, Indiana University with a minor in Spanish 

Experience:  Maria started at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington in 2014 and worked for many years as a Teen Intern, Support Staff, and then Education Coordinator. She taught in a Spanish Immersion program for 4 years before returning to the Boys & Girls Club. Additionally, she has worked in preschools and led summer programming in the schools.

Hobbies:  Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, drinking coffee, and watching IU basketball. 

Did you know?: Maria has taught English over several summers in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, and China.
